Position Status : Full-time, permanent (Hired by the employer, not by Evlv)

Working Hours : Monday Friday, 9 : 00 am 5 : 00 pm (Friday is remote)

Compensation and Benefits : $50,000-$70,000 + vacation, company events, dental care, extended health care, onsite parking

This position is only open to residents of Canada who have legal work authorization.

Technical Requirements :

• Previous experience as a handbag designer or in a related design role within the fashion industry is preferred
• A degree in a fashion-related field
• Fluent in English
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop is a must
• Strong creative and artistic skills with an ability to translate ideas into visually appealing and marketable handbag designs
• Familiarity with design software and the ability to create detailed technical drawings.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and presenting design concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

The responsibilities will include :

• Minimum 2 years of experience in handbag industry as Designer / Junior designer
• Making Tech pack’s, responsible to send the TPs to Overseas suppliers as allocated by Design Director and Support during the execution of the product in the development phase
• Source and select appropriate materials, considering quality, cost, and design requirements.
• Strong Communication skills & positive attitude.
• Work Closely with the Design Director and overseas makers.
• Capability to work under pressure and tight timelines.
