Reporting to the Director of Human Resources (HRD), the Human Resources Business Partner (HRAP) acts as a strategic advisor to the plant's managers and employees to align HR practices with the company's business objectives. It plays a key role in optimizing engagement, organizational development, HR processes, labor relations, and overall performance.
An overview of your new position
Strategic partnership & leadership support
- Advise and support managers on all HR matters (staffing, retention, performance management, talent development, succession planning).
- Act as a coach to leaders in the development of their people‑management capabilities.
Labor relations & compliance
Support managers in the application of HR policies and employment legislation.Act as a mediator in labor relations and recommend practical, balanced solutions.Organizational development & change management
Actively contribute to change management initiatives.Design and implement strategies that enhance team effectiveness, engagement, and alignment with company values.HR performance & continuous improvement
Analyze HR metrics and provide data‑driven recommendations.Optimize HR processes while taking into account the realities of a manufacturing environment.You are the ideal candidate if you have
Hold a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.Have 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.Have a strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.Are comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving environment.Demonstrate sound judgment, integrity, and the ability to influence leaders.Possess excellent communication, coaching, and conflict ‑ resolution skills.Are able to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.Are bilingual in French and English. – required to communicate with certain team members and to understand the technical documentation provided by our customers, mainly in EnglishWhat we have to offer you
