IMAC Technician – Level 3
Location : Cold Lake, AB
Contract : 2 months

Overview :
Our client is seeking two IMAC Technician to assist with a Global PC & Laptop refresh project in Cold Lake, Alberta.
Responsibilities :
- Perform intermediate IMAC (installs, moves, add, changes) activities : hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other hardware deployment related activities on PCs, laptops, printers, POS devices, etc.
- Handle software installation / support / upgrades
- Perform deskside support services installing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and network related issues
- Provide 1st level Help Desk support
- Perform basic LAN and internetworking related activities
- Handle bench repairs (depot service) & remedial maintenance
- Respond / update / close calls from National Dispatch / Call Management Center
- Communicate with customers to diagnose problem, establish E.T.A., and parts requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and / or Abilities Required :
Education : Post secondary education could include a University Degree or a Diploma from a recognized IT ProgramCertifications : Minimum of A+ Certification is a must have : Other vendor certifications : Cisco, Microsoft and / or from OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo and / or HP would be an asset.Minimum of 1 year of field service experience performing IT hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activitiesMinimum of 1 year of experience providing deskside supportPossess strong network, internetwork and troubleshooting skillsA self-starter who has the ability to manage multiple tasksExceptional customer service skillsGood English language communications and presentations skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamAbility to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervisionMust be available to work flexible work schedules
