What You'll Do :
Data Infrastructure & Analytics :
- Infrastructure Ownership : Design, build, and maintain the enterprise data infrastructure, integrating 50+ data sources across marketing, finance, operations, and retail channels.
- BI & Dashboarding : Develop and maintain Looker dashboards and self-serve analytics tools, driving adoption across departments and enabling data-driven decision making at all levels.
- Data Pipeline Management : Build and optimize ETL / ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, ensuring data quality, reliability, and timely delivery of insights.
Data Science & Modeling :
Marketing Analytics & Experimentation : Design, execute, and analyze geo-experiments and A / B tests to measure incrementality and causal impact of marketing initiatives. Develop frameworks for ongoing incrementality measurement to optimize budget allocation across paid media, organic, and retail channels.NLP & AI Applications : Leverage LLMs, embedding models, clustering algorithms, and NLP techniques to automate customer feedback analysis, extract insights from reviews, and build AI-powered tools for operational efficiency.Customer Analytics : Build customer lifetime value models, segmentation frameworks, and churn prediction models to inform retention and acquisition strategies.Analysis & Reporting :
Performance Analytics : Conduct deep-dive analyses on retail performance, e-commerce trends, and omnichannel dynamics, including cannibalization studies and store performance attribution.Executive Reporting : Create and present strategic analyses to C-suite executives, translating complex findings into clear recommendations and business impact.Forecasting : Develop demand forecasting models to support inventory planning, revenue projections, and resource allocation decisions.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Marketing Partnership : Partner with the marketing team to measure campaign effectiveness, optimize spend allocation, and develop attribution frameworks.Finance Integration : Collaborate with finance on revenue analytics, margin analysis, and financial forecasting models.Operations Support : Provide analytical support to operations and retail teams, including inventory optimization, store performance analysis, and operational efficiency metrics.Vendor & Contractor Management : Manage relationships with external data vendors and oversee contractor teams for specialized projects.What We're Looking For :
5-7 years of experience in data science, analytics, or data engineering. Experience in DTC e-commerce, retail, or consumer products is a plus.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data manipulation libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.).Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, Azure Data Factory, and Google Cloud preferred).Experience with version control and CI / CD (GitHub and GitHub Actions preferred).Hands-on experience with BI tools (Looker preferred; Tableau or Power BI also accepted) and building self-serve analytics solutions.Technical Depth : Experience with causal inference methods, geo-testing frameworks, A / B test design, or LLM / Embedding models is highly valued.E-commerce & ERP Systems : Experience working with Shopify and NetSuite ERP is preferred.Business Acumen : Ability to see beyond the numbers to understand the impact of data initiatives on customer experience, revenue, and operational efficiency.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex analyses to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-suite executives.Self-Starter : Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment, defining the data roadmap, and prioritizing initiatives with minimal oversight.What You'll Get :
