Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Experience : 2 years to less than 3 years.

Work setting : Metal product fabrication industry. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications.
• Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
• Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
• Document work completed.
• Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair.
• Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines.
• Operate machines or equipment which weld, solder, bolt, screw or rivet metal parts together.
• Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
