We're seeking a dynamic office manager for our clients growing law firm located in Bedford, Nova Scotia . The role involves ensuring the smooth running of office functions, managing the administrative staff, and supporting the legal team by optimizing office efficiency.
The Office Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations to implement office policies, coordinate resources, and enhance productivity, including risk management, performance oversight, and problem-solving. What We Offer :
- Salary : 60k to 65k annually
- Job Type / Shift : Full-time position, Monday to Friday
What You'll Do :
- Ensure smooth daily operations of the office, including workflow coordination and resource management
- Identify constraints and provide appropriate tools to enhance office efficiency
- Oversee and manage office supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships
- Implement and enforce office policies and procedures
- Maintain office security, including controlling access to files and equipment
- Plan and prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines and objectives are met efficiently
- Client relations
- Supervise the admin team
- Oversee client billing, invoice management, and payment processing
- Control costs effectively and manage resources to stay within budget
What We're Looking For :
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in office management, preferably within a law firm or other professional services environment
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with office software and ability to lead new technology implementation
