Purpose of the position

Jazz Drummondville is a recent residence of 405 apartments located in a sought-after area of Drummondville, which offers a high-quality, safe and deeply human living environment to its residents and employees. We are currently looking for a Beneficiary Attendant trained under Law 90, empathetic and concerned about the well-being of residents. The resident attendant sees to the comfort, well-being, safety and general needs of residents by providing them with hygiene and comfort care. Permanent full-time position, in the form of 07 / 15, between 24 and 32 hours per week, evenings or nights and every other weekend. HIRING BONUS OF $500 (spread over 6 months, $250 after 3 months and $250 after 6 months) Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :

  • Assist and / or accompany residents in getting around
  • Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
  • Assist the nursing staff in tasks that require no hands-on care of the resident
  • Transporting residents to programs, dining room and appointments within the Residence
  • While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
  • In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
  • Respond to all emergency situations
  • Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents

  • Law 90 training
