Diesel Mechanic

Our client, Purolator, is seeking a Licensed Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Edmonton, AB. The ideal candidate will have a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanics License and Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving history.

Job Title : Diesel Mechanic

Location : Edmonton, AB

Pay Range : $47.58 / hour

Job Description

• Diagnose and repair on- / off-road and heavy duty vehicles and equipment to meet preventative maintenance schedules, ensure proper function, and meet vehicle safety and quality goals
• Assist with entering data in the mechanic’s maintenance and repair database (e.g., Web Fleet Assistant (WFA))
• Communicates concerns or escalates unusually complex or persistent problems to the Foreman or other manager
• Responds to service calls for equipment breakdowns when no supervisor is available to assist in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues arising from the Control Room, Dispatch, or Drivers

Qualifications
