Job descriptionObtains manufacturer approval for each warranty claim (submitting for authorization) Communicates with manufacturers on warranty claims, log notes in regards to discussion. Communicate with customers for updates on their claims, log notes in regards to reach out. Once claim is approved, verifies times and parts and enter into existing RO Process time from technicians in report for accounting if needed. Process completed work order in conjunctions with time from technicians. Invoices manufacturers for all authorized warranty work completed Communicates with the service department on the status of all warranty authorizations and updates Motility on customer file. Communicates and requests time for repairs to be completed in a timely fashion from the service department. Processes pictures from technicians in relations to work done. Reviews every warranty repair order that is written for all correct information including but not limited to Concern, Cause and Correction Analyze problems, identify trends and develop strategies to maximize all warranty claim dollars Be positive that you are asking for all billable hours and obtain additional approvals as needed Review denied and adjusted claims Resubmit with necessary adjustments Follow up on submitted claims weekly, create a schedule to touch base with each manufacturer once a week for status update Help the service department answer phone calls – screen calls to see if service or warranty related. Check in customers if help is needed on Service Advisors breaks or absence.
