Job Description : Job Summary

This position dispatches drivers with loads, coordinates overflows, and verifies drivers hours of service. He / She manages Yard Control duties, assigning trailer movement to shifters around the yard and in the unload during the sort with multiple shifters.

Shift Hours : 12PM-8PM Monday to Friday (Flexibility required)

Responsibilities :

• Dispatching drivers to various customer pick-ups and UPS locations
• Managing UPS yard inventory
• Communication and dispatching of 3rd party drivers to various customer pick-ups and UPS locations
• Communication and dispatching of shunters within the UPS Toronto Hub yard
• Answering phones and communicating with both internal and external customers
• Creating bills of lading for 3rd party carriers
• Various clerical duties
