Pay rate : $25.00 - $33.00 / hour

Scheduled between the day & hours of Monday to Sunday 7 : 30am – 6pm

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist the pharmacist in maintaining federal, provincial, and local laws
• Assist the pharmacist in entering prescriptions into the prescription software (Kroll), and filling / billing such prescriptions
• Schedule patients for repeat medications
• Maintains pharmacy records including filing and documenting required information on dispensing records
• Assist the pharmacists in the preparation and labeling of medications
• Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions as permitted by provincial pharmacy college regulations
• Package and dispense prescription medications after a pharmacist has confirmed clinical appropriateness
