We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day accounting and financial tasks of the company.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using accounting software and comfort working in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Responsibilities :
- Take a leadership role on the full accounting cycle for multiple entities.
- Maintain accurate financial records, subledger schedules and documentation.
- Prepare consolidating and eliminating entries at different levels of the organization.
- Prepare balance sheet and profit and loss statements, consolidated financial statements, and other accounting reports as necessary.
- Prepare and review timely month-end close and ensure recording all pertinent transactions including setting up monthly accruals.
- Assist with year-end audit and tax preparation process and responding to requests.
- Work closely with accounts payable team to ensure payables process is running smoothly to support timely payments to vendors and stakeholders.
- Perform other accounting and financial tasks as needed.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role with strong technical knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving skills & excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to plan, organize and manage work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
