Maintenance Millwright

Teknion Custom Solutions is looking for a skilled Maintenance Millwright to join our maintenance team in Calgary. You will play a vital role in maintaining our 200000 sq. ft. wood furniture manufacturing facility ensuring that production machinery and building systems operate at peak efficiency with minimal downtime.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on complex manufacturing machinery including electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions by repairing or replacing defective parts.
• Plan and oversee the installation assembly and relocation of production equipment and building systems.
• Conduct regular inspections (cleaning lubricating and adjusting) to identify and resolve potential issues before they cause failure.
• Ensure all machinery meets machine lock-out (LOTO) procedures and regulatory safety requirements.
• Utilize Interal software and other computer programs (Google Suite Excel) to maintain accurate maintenance logs and complete work orders.
• Identify and procure necessary parts and supplies for repairs.
• Actively train team members and expand the internal knowledge base to improve the overall technical capability of the maintenance department.
