Position Overview

Autodesk is transforming the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Owner (AECO) sector by enhancing existing Computational Design and Automation methods with cutting‑edge Agentic technologies, seamlessly integrating them into products such as Revit, Civil 3D, Construction Cloud, and Forma.

As the Technical Program Manager for Computational Design and Automation, you will lead critical programs to support the team’s mission of developing the next wave of Computational Design, Automation, and Agentic technologies across our AEC portfolio. You will work closely with the Director and Core Team responsible for delivering both existing (Dynamo ecosystem of tools) and emerging products, ensuring the integration of advanced workflow automation tools within Autodesk’s product suite and industry‑specific cloud solutions.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a background in enterprise software companies, who possesses solid technical expertise and business acumen, with the ability to impart a sense of urgency and influence your leaders and peers. You have a bias towards action, are a champion for pursuing business outcomes as opposed to performing development activities and are proactive in stakeholder management. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, are passionate about tackling and realizing complex customer challenges, excel in navigating ambiguity to find clarity, and can successfully organize and manage multiple priorities. Responsibilities

Plan and ensure delivery by engaging with engineering leadership to build and refine delivery plans. Track multiple sprint cycles, refine plans, and communicate progress to stakeholders

Effectively lead diverse stakeholders within the organization to launch and manage especially innovative (sometimes tricky), never‑tried‑before initiatives

Identify and mitigate risks, reduce waste, optimize delivery, and improve team satisfaction with delivery process

Evaluate tradeoffs to balance competing project demands and optimize resource allocation

Enforce accountability and responsibility among project members to ensure timely and quality deliverables

Lead communication efforts at all levels, ensuring all team members are well‑informed and engaged

Develop and maintain clear, transparent documentation to provide clarity and direction

Ensure team members have a clear understanding of their tasks, timelines, and methods

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, an Engineering discipline, Computer Science, or a related field

5+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams on highly complex initiatives involving multiple teams, in a fast‑paced environment, using traditional and Agile methodologies

3+ years of experience as a technical : Program Manager, Project Manager or similar role

Preferred Qualifications

PMP or other professional certification

Strong technical background, detail‑oriented, and excellent problem‑solving abilities

Skilled in change management and anticipating challenges

Strong influencer with self‑direction and autonomy

Collaborative team player who thrives on building healthy relationships, including mentorship

Curious and passionate about simplifying and scaling processes

Respectful & candid communicator with strong presentation skills

Willing to challenge the status quo and consider new perspectives

Autodesk transforme le secteur de l'architecture, de l'ingénierie, de la construction et de la gestion immobilière (AECO) en améliorant les méthodes existantes de conception et d'automatisation informatiques grâce à des technologies agentiques de pointe, qu'il intègre de manière transparente dans des produits tels que Revit, Civil 3D, Construction Cloud et Forma.

En tant que responsable du programme technique pour la conception et l'automatisation informatiques, vous dirigerez des programmes essentiels afin de soutenir la mission de l'équipe qui consiste à développer la prochaine génération de technologies de conception, d'automatisation et d'agents informatiques dans l'ensemble de notre portefeuille AEC. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec le directeur et l'équipe principale chargés de fournir à la fois les produits existants (écosystème d'outils Dynamo) et les nouveaux produits, en veillant à l'intégration d'outils avancés d'automatisation des flux de travail dans la suite de produits Autodesk et les solutions cloud spécifiques à l'industrie.

Vous avez le sens de l'action, vous êtes un champion de la recherche de résultats commerciaux plutôt que de la réalisation d'activités de développement et vous êtes proactif dans la gestion des parties prenantes. Vous vous épanouissez dans un environnement en constante évolution, vous êtes passionné par la résolution et la réalisation de défis complexes pour les clients, vous excellez dans la gestion de l'ambiguïté pour trouver la clarté et vous êtes capable d'organiser et de gérer avec succès plusieurs priorités. Responsabilités

Planifier et garantir la livraison en collaborant avec les responsables de l'ingénierie pour élaborer et affiner les plans de livraison. Suivre plusieurs cycles de sprint, affiner les plans et communiquer les progrès aux parties prenantes

Diriger efficacement les différentes parties prenantes au sein de l'organisation afin de lancer et de gérer des initiatives particulièrement innovantes (parfois délicates) et jamais tentées auparavant

Identifier et atténuer les risques, réduire le gaspillage, optimiser la livraison et améliorer la satisfaction de l'équipe à l'égard du processus de livraison

Évaluer les compromis afin d'équilibrer les exigences concurrentes des projets et d'optimiser l'allocation des ressources

Faire respecter la responsabilité et l'imputabilité parmi les membres du projet afin de garantir des livrables de qualité dans les délais impartis

Diriger les efforts de communication à tous les niveaux, en veillant à ce que tous les membres de l'équipe soient bien informés et engagés

Élaborer et tenir à jour une documentation claire et transparente afin d'apporter clarté et orientation

S'assurer que les membres de l'équipe comprennent clairement leurs tâches, leurs délais et leurs méthodes

Qualifications minimales

Licence en architecture, ingénierie, informatique ou dans un domaine connexe

Plus de 5 ans d'expérience dans la collaboration directe avec des équipes d'ingénieurs sur des initiatives très complexes impliquant plusieurs équipes, dans un environnement en évolution rapide, en utilisant des méthodologies traditionnelles et agiles

Plus de 3 ans d'expérience en tant que responsable technique : responsable de programme, chef de projet ou poste similaire

Qualifications souhaitées

Certification PMP ou autre certification professionnelle

Solide expérience technique, souci du détail et excellentes capacités de résolution de problèmes

Compétences en gestion du changement et en anticipation des défis

Fort pouvoir d'influence, autonomie et capacité à s'autogérer

Esprit d'équipe et aptitude à établir des relations saines, y compris dans le cadre du mentorat

Curiosité et passion pour la simplification et la mise à l'échelle des processus

Communicateur respectueux et franc, doté de solides compétences en matière de présentation

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
