DESIGNATED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS - SUPPLY POSITIONS
This posting is intended for external applicants. Applicants who are successful through this interview process will be added to the SMCDSB's shortlist of recommended DECE employees to be considered for permanent and supply DECE positions.
Position Type : 10 month per year position
Location : in 42 of our Elementary Schools
Hours : Up to 7 hours per day Monday to Friday between the hours of 8 : 00 a.m and 5 : 00 p.m.
Salary : Supply DECE Rate : $25.07 / Hour
Job Summary
Reporting to the Principal, the Designated Early Childhood Educator will partner with the Catholic classroom teacher to plan and implement a full day early learning program supporting faith initiatives within a Catholic classroom setting and provide supervision and age appropriate Catholic programming for groups of students.

Option 1 : Educator Faith Testimony; and Roman Catholic Pastoral Reference Form or Pastoral Reference letter OR
Option 2 : Educator Faith Testimony; Roman Catholic Baptismal Certificate; and Personal Letter of Faith
Proof of registration in the College of Early Childhood Educators.
Board Interviews will be conducted on a continuing basis.
Incomplete packages will not be considered. A Pastoral Letter of Reference from a Catholic priest must be included for an application package to be considered complete.
