Journeyman Technician

Mercedes-Benz Country Hills is seeking a professional, certified Journeyman Technician to join their team of professionals!

The Journeyman Technician is responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs accurately and ensuring customer safety to prevent the vehicle returning with similar concerns. They must perform quality diagnostic and repair work to contribute to an overall customer experience that exceeds expectations.

Requirements:

• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
• Efficiently and accurately diagnose and repair vehicles
• Complete scheduled maintenance as outlined by the manufacturer
• Perform vehicle inspections, road test motor vehicles, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems

Qualifications:

• Automotive service technician trade certification
• Luxury experience is an asset
• Out of province inspection certification is an asset
• Positive attitude
• Efficient problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and excellent organizational skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and ensure that the quality and quantity of work meets expectations
• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s license

Hours of work:

• Full time hours
• Signing Bonus and relocation support available depending on application qualifications
