Controls Engineer

Our Client with operations in Aurora, Ontario is an established multi-disciplinary engineering company specialising in process solutions for a diverse range of industries, including : Food and Beverage, Brewing and Distilling, Chemical, Dairy, and many others. They are actively looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities :

• PLC and / or DCS configuration
• Organize project data into manageable spreadsheets and databases
• Human-Machine Interface (HMI) graphics development and SCADA configuration
• Historian configuration
• Perform I / O checkout on the installed control system and document the checkout results
• Provide post-commissioning support to the client’s operations, engineering, and maintenance personnel
• Travel to the client’s site as required
