Material Handler

PTW is looking for an Material Handler to work in our busy structural steel fabrication shop in Calgary! This is a full-time permanent position. Lots of opportunities for overtime, if you have previous experience working in steel, we want to hear from you!

A Day in the Life... .

• Receives work order pre-pull materials list from Planner and coordinates inventory availability with Production and Procurement departments.
• Processes all received shipments to ensure that materials meet purchase order specifications.
• Receives and unloads parts, picks and packages products for fabrication and detail departments.
• Ensures accuracy of received shipments by comparing the quantity and type of goods received to supporting documentation, such as waybills, packing slips, and purchase orders.
• Provides team with complete information on items short shipped, over shipped, or damaged.
• Notifies supervisor of irregularities and when stock reached re-order point.
• Assists in performing cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
