Our GTA based, Municipal Government client requires the services of a Senior Business Analyst to analyze current state and provide future state recommendations for their ITSM environment.
ROLE :
The goal of this assignment is to analyze operational processes, providing an accurate current state, and define viable future states to enhance or introduce new systems, procedures, and workflows.
Specifically, this assignment currently has the following main objectives (but is not limited to) :
- Document the current state of systems and processes
- Identify GAPS in relation to management goals and best practices
- Determine a viable future state to integrate the future state (software and business processes) within the Client’s architecture and environment
- Work with stakeholders to ensure understanding of benefits and efficiencies of streamlined processes
- The assignment has a number of initiatives to be undertaken in / , where the Business Analyst will prepare documentation to support the initiatives, including, but not limited to, current state, future state and gap analysis;
business, functional, and non-functional requirements; workflows. He or she will work closely with the business, architectural, vendors, and technical teams to deliver viable future states and accurate, measurable business requirements.
MUST HAVE :
- University degree or college diploma in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Information System, Engineering)
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Business / Systems Analyst, and / or Business Architect
- Extensive knowledge and experience in office consolidation enablement solutions, call centre management solutions and business process reengineering
- Developing use cases, validating test cases and relevant documentation related to business analysis including plans, presentations and solution implementation
- Hands-on experience of developing process flow chart / diagrams
