Our client has an immediate opening for a Technical Solutions Manager – ESG to join their team in Vancouver.
In your new role as a Technical Solutions Manager, you are responsible for the technical product management for ESG and Sustainability related solutions that are based on integration of digital platform with 3rd party technologies. These responsibilities include understanding sensor, monitoring and reporting technologies related to Scope 1 emissions for mobile mining (and potentially other) equipment and technologies related to overall mining site GHG and related environmental emission reduction, technical relationships with other 3rd party ESG ecosystem partners that access machine data from digital platform / Readyline.io or other data sources and provide value-added analytics back to the parent company for use in ESG related digital solutions to customers and dealers.
You will be the parent company representative and will collaborate with other companies within the Group and Ecosystem Partner technical teams to ensure successful branded Sustainability solutions to dealers and customers, will help evaluate the technical capabilities of potential acquisition (M&A) candidates and startup investment opportunities, including confidential due diligence investigations and eventual testing with early adopter customers as part of the Proof of Value process.
Skills most aligned with this position are similar to a customer oriented Technical Product Manager with real world experience in ESG based technologies, particularly relating to GHG reduction solutions for industrial (particularly mining) operators :
Responsibilities :
Key Deliverables :
ESG digital solution technical roadmap including key features and services with anticipated timelines (based on collaboration with key stakeholders, group companies and 3rd party technology providers). This includes working with Digital Strategy team members on potential ecosystem technical roadmap
Work with customers, dealers and technology partners to document technical requirements to implement Proof of Value testing with early adopter customers.
Document technical feedback from dealers and customers from PoV testing in collaboration with Customer Experience specialists (Voice of Customer), Solution Managers and validate with stakeholders (customers, dealers, internal team, technology providers and 3rd party ecosystem partners)
Create technology assessments and reports on technology partners including technical assessments, technical roadmap requirements and fit to overall solution strategy.

EDUCATION REQUIRED :
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering or similar technology degree specializing in Sustainability technologies
TRAVEL REQUIRED :
Travel of up to 10% may be required (must have a valid passport and
legally be able to travel internationally if required)
LEADERSHIP :
Independently productive and requires minimal supervision. The Technical Product Manager is expected to take ownership of their work and assignments and be responsible to see them through to completion. Technical thought leadership to customers, partners and solution team members is expected.
