You will be our frontline sales champion AND technical expert in the community serving as a trusted advisor in our customers homes. With your exceptional customer service and sales skills you will help our customers fully experience the benefits of our growing suite of products and services. As a Service Professional youll be the face and voice of TELUS for our customers. Youll meet with them in their homes installing maintaining and supporting a range of services including security internet home automationTV and home phone. But thats not all - You will set your customers up with services provide on-site support and drive future growth for TELUS by highlighting sales opportunities designed to help our customers get the most out of their TELUS experience. With your exceptional customer service skills youll educate our customers face-to-face on both new and existing products in their homes all while increasing our sales and customer satisfaction.

We know that our success is tied to the people we hire which is why the rewards of starting your career withTELUSinclude an hourly wage of $27.70 plus sales commissions annual bonuses and regular increases. This hourly wage includes a base wage of $25.70 with an additional $2 / hour for the recognized skill of Aerial Outside Plant Climbing (telephone pole climbing). This is based on acquiring this skill recognized by the company and performing work related to this skill. We will provide you with extensive training to ensure your success in this role. Qualifications

You are passionate about sales with proven ability to exceed targets through technical expertise

You excel at consultative selling and can turn service calls into sales opportunities

You are driven by solutions-based selling and enjoy recommending products and services that will make your customers lives easier.

You have natural technical aptitude and passion for technology with proficient knowledge of consumer electronics

You thrive on objection handling and excel at building trust through technical competence

You can work collaboratively in team environments while operating independently with minimal supervision

You have strong problem-solving skills and maintain high performance under time constraints

You have a normal colour vision which is required to work with colour-coded wiring

You can handle physically demanding workload including standing lifting climbing ladders bending crawling in confined spaces and working in various indoor / outdoor environments

You are flexible and able to work various shifts : days evenings weekends statutory holidays to meet business needs and customer availability with the possibility of working out of town assignments

Youre fluent in English with a clear genuine and persuasive communication style additional languages are considered beneficial

Your written and oral communication skills are professional

You enjoy continuous learning and have the ability to learn formally and informally in a dynamic environment

Can meet applicable testing requirements

Requirements :

Proven customer service AND sales experience

Clean and valid full Class 5 Drivers License or other provincial equivalents a drivers abstract will be needed

Completed a minimum of Grade 11 Math well need your transcripts and / or diplomas

Great to have :

Any previous experience and / or education in telecommunications or security would be an asset
