The HR Technology Business Partner supports our people strategy by providing technical and functional expertise and solutions in areas of technology and processes so that leaders can identify and develop their talent.

Your role is to partner with P&C and IT stakeholders to understand the business objectives, operating model, and processes as it relates to Human Capital Management (HCM).

Through this knowledge, you will leverage SAP SuccessFactors to optimize solutions for the P&C operations while improving user adoption.

This role will act as a key point of contact on technical issues that relate to the Employee Life Cycle operations along with integration and payroll support.

In addition, you will be responsible for systems administration, governance processes and testing within your mandate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with P&C members and peers within HR Technology to configure, maintain, and operate SAP SuccessFactors to reflect and communicate our business processes, and to manage our Employee Life Cycle events.
  • Responsible for the design, developing and managing integrations between SAP SuccessFactors and all downstream internal and external applications.
  • Work directly with internal stakeholders and external vendors to provide technical support in addressing integrations issues and system enhancements.
  • Partner with the Payroll functional team to provide solutions that supports and simplify Payroll processing.
  • Work closely with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to identify, analyze, and implement business process improvements and associated system enhancements that support the existing suite of HR Solutions
  • Assess, educate, execute, and communicate impact analysis with team and other parties relating to system releases.
  • Liaise with SAP SuccessFactors to address issues prior to engaging third party support.
  • Support identity and access management security functions including provisioning with SAP Partners
  • Ensure role-based permission is standardized and process documented using best practices and conduct audits as required.
  • Maintain applicable workbooks and workflows align to support alignment with processes.
  • Support the HR team with issue resolution including documenting, analyzing, escalating, and resolving issues.
  • Participate in meetings with diverse user groups and key stakeholders to capture and document both functional requirements and user adoption feedback.
  • Act as a consultant to business stakeholders and P&C functional owners to analyze business and technical requirements in delivering solutions as expected.
  • Assess SAP Platform solutions and contribute to HR Technology Roadmap, including prioritization, risk management and resource assessment within your scope of accountability.
  • Create and update system processes, procedures, and support documentation for each release.
  • Partner with the peers within HR Technology team to ensure alignment and knowledge transfer.
  • Perform regular system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of the system.

Key Qualifications

  • 6+ years proven experience in a HR Technology and process role with good knowledge of integration and data practices to deliver a positive employee experience and business results.
  • Minimum 4 years hands-on configuration experience of SAP SuccessFactors EC and ECP Payroll
  • Exposure to ADP Payroll for US and Canada
  • Building integrations between applications / systems experience using tools such as flat file, APIs, connectors, SFTP, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management / information technology or a related discipline preferred.
  • SAP SuccessFactors certification in at least two modules with extensive platform knowledge is an asset.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audience.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with the level of access and information interacting.
  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to foster solid relationships amongst colleagues, P&G Functional Teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and partners.
  • Must be organized with the ability to plan and manage multiple competing deliverables that requires an aptitude to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
