As a Field Service Manager, you will work in the field, installing, managing projects, and overseeing day-to-day operations in the Field Service Department in your assigned area.

In this role, you will manage a technician team comprising video surveillance and access control technicians and installers with varying competencies.

This position requires extensive interaction with multiple customer organizations, product vendors and manufacturers, and with senior management of the company.

Responsibilities :

Manage projects and service assignments as needed.

Act as direct liaison between BearCom technicians and end customers.

Work with customers to prepare quotes, bids, and schedules for completing installation and repair tasks.

Assist with organizing and scheduling upcoming field work.

Provides technical support in field operations.

Checks functioning of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and resolve wireless communication equipment problems with customers in a positive and efficient manner.

Provide hands-on oversight of communications equipment and peripheral hardware installation such as access control, alarm intrusion, and security camera system.

Analyze and comprehend diagnostic test results in order to repair and secure the camera system and wireless equipment.

Handles training and coaching of field service technicians and installers.

Help with other projects as assigned.
