Mission

Terus Construction, a division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is looking for a Scale Coordinator to join our team in Prince George, BC.

Main Responsibilities

• Record the delivery of materials to construction jobs, pit to pit transfers and asphalt and gravel sales
• Management of multiple scales
• Prepare production reports and material inventory reports
• Requisition materials and supplies
• Ensuring hired truck tickets, timecards and equipment pre-trip checklists are collected daily for processing
• Filing and sorting of truck tickets and time and reconciling with the differing work sites.
• Perform regular bank deposit runs and ensure accurate handling of financial transactions.
• Collect payments and process credit card transactions in accordance with company procedures.
• Provide customer service support, including responding to inquiries and assisting with general office duties as needed.
• Other general administrative office duties

Requirements/Working Conditions

• Frequently exposed to noise and a regular flow of people through office
• Sitting at a desk 75% of time and 25% standing
• On-the-job training is provided
• Proper working attire and work boots
• Be able to work well with others
• Familiarity with digital scale
• To work with minimal supervision

Compensation Data

The anticipated wage range for this position is $22.00-$25.00/hour. The final compensation package will be determined based on factors including the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
