Responsibilities
- Plan and complete compilation, review, and audit engagements, including preparing financial statements and all required tax filings
- Prepare personal income tax returns and related schedules
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, while growing skills in identifying and attracting new clients
- Respond to client questions and concerns in a timely and professional way
- Assess client situations and provide clear insight to support financial decision making, including identifying opportunities for value-added services
- Review bookkeeping completed internally for clients to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Manage time, budgets, work‑in‑progress, and billings across multiple engagements
- Work closely with team members to maintain and improve internal processes
- Participate in ongoing professional development required for the CPA designation and to maintain strong technical knowledge
- Train and mentor junior team members, including supporting their CPA program progress
Qualifications
New CPA grad or scheduled to complete the CFE in 2026Solid experience in compilations, review engagements, audits, and corporate and personal taxStrong understanding of CAS, ASPE, financial reporting, and tax fundamentalsAbility to manage multiple engagements and prioritize deadlines
