Purpose :

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Mississauga, Ontario.

The candidate will provide electrical engineering services on small to medium projects for the Electrical discipline at our client location in an operating facility, and interface well with the customer and coordinate with the rest of the project team.

Self-motivated individuals with a desire to solve complex engineering problems, who show effective team leadership, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, will be ideally suitable for this role.

Responsibilities :

• Manage electrical engineering services and project requirements to meet customer, Worley, and regulatory standards—on time and within budget.
• Lead engineering activities across all phases, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Ensure project scope is clearly defined and manage changes in accordance with project change control processes.
• Provide technical leadership on specific projects and, if applicable, supervise team members and assign tasks.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and other disciplines to ensure coordination and resolve issues.
• Support quality assurance processes and verify engineering deliverables meet required standards.
• Mentor and support junior personnel, contributing to their professional development.
• Stay current with industry developments and apply relevant innovations to improve engineering outcomes.
• Participate in progress meetings, prepare reports, and follow required checking and documentation procedures.
• Identify technical issues, develop practical solutions, and escalate when necessary to ensure project continuity.

Required :

For applicants based in the province of Ontario, the salary range is $120,000 to $154,000 CAD. Application of the pay band : Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
