Our client, an established electrical contractor, is currently seeking to hire a Purchasing Manager.
As a Purchasing Manager, you will be crucial in efficiently procuring electrical materials, tools, and equipment for various projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, extensive knowledge of electrical products and vendors, and experience managing the entire supply chain process.
This includes overseeing inventory and collaborating with internal stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and improving gaps in existing procedures.
Effective communication with on-site project managers to understand job specifications and engage the necessary suppliers is also essential.
The ideal candidate for the Purchasing Manager position should have over 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing Purchasing and other supply chain functions.
A proven ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations is essential. A thorough understanding of purchasing in relation to project requirements is critical.
