Voice Business Analyst
On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Voice Business Analyst for a two-year (24 months) engagement based in Richmond, British Columbia.
This role will require occasional site presence with varying frequency throughout the project.
Voice Business Analyst Job Details
- This role is to gather requirement, design solution, coordinate deployment and go-live support of the voice device deployment in the new Acute Care Tower and potentially in other redevelopment sites as needed.
- Lead and collaborate with Technical Project Manager for the Voice deployment
- Business requirements gathering and analyses;
- System integration requirements gathering and analyses (e.g. Fire alarm, paging, etc)
- Process engineering
- Develop tools and templates to support decision making on voice solutions
- Facilitate system design and configuration to business rules
- Collaborate with overall project team, PHSA technology services on the site discovery, solutioning, deployment, go-live and support
- Develop training plan and materials
- Develop communication materials required
- Test and validate system with business users (for example : Validate and test the fire, code and alarm calling procedures)
- Develop Go-Live materials and operation transition materials
- Manage the collection / decommissioning of old devices
Deliverable Summary
- Use cases and analysis
- Functional and non-functional requirements
- Coordinated site visits and access
- Assessment tools & methodologies, documentation templates, and decision-making guidance for voice solution selection, design and implementation.
- Device tracking document (port, number, function, stakeholder approvals)
- Training plan and materials such as manuals, quick reference guides, videos, etc.
- Migration plan and implementation (including coordinating downtime cell phones if necessary)
- Project operation handover document
- Train full time staff taking over operations
General support for Redev related activities :
- Provide ad-hoc subject matter expertise to other related and aligned FHA capital initiatives as requested by the Executive Director, Capital Facility Projects, IMIT Solutions.
- Establish and improve processes, templates, approach, communication, and issue resolution.
- Lead engagement with third parties (suppliers, PHSA, Design Builder) .
- Lead and coordinate the deployment to all departments in device testing and configuration.
- Support application testing and clinical transition activities
- Provide support and issue resolution along with production turn over.
- Create, maintain, and monitor budget and cost center allocation.
- Undertake other work as / if assigned by IT Delivery Manager with the Design-Builder, Health Authority Facilities Management, Owner’s compliance team and other project stakeholders.
Voice Business Analyst Mandatory Skills
- Must be experienced in end user requirement gathering and solution advising including requirement elicitation, analysis, and solution design
- Must be comfortable to lead and drive the project along with the Technical Project Manager
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, process development, change management, project management
- Solution adoption and operation transition
- This is a hands-on (roll up your sleeve) role that requires onsite presence in increasing frequency toward implementation time.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on large scale IT projects in a Business Analyst role and project lead role
- Basic Computer setup and networking knowledge.
- Must be fluent in English both oral and written.
- Ability to take lead in an ambiguous, changing / reactionary priorities environment.
- Able to efficiently prioritize and structure clear and unclear workloads.
- Open to rolling up your sleeves, applying subject matter understanding and to dive into the details to uncover optimal solutions to application design, implementation and hand-over sustain problems
- Effective communication skills, and ability to interact with internal and external partners
Voice Business Analyst Nice-To-Have Skills
- Previous experience in corporate voice and communications projects
- systems analysis, design and migration of Voice devices, VoIP project and workflow
- Formal business analysis training or certification
- Formal project management training
- Formal change management training
- Experience working in health care project; especially in a hospital.
Voice Business Analyst Assignment Length
Twenty-four month contract with the potential for extension based on project needs.
