Heavy Equipment OperatorWe are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as excavators and loaders.
Duties : - Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, and other machinery - Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning - Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment - Collaborate with team members to complete construction projects on time and within budget - Use equipment to dig trenches, move materials, and perform other necessary tasks - Adhere to project specifications and requirements - Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs Experience : - Proven experience in operating heavy equipment, such as excavators and loaders - Commercial driving experience is a plus - Mechanical knowledge and understanding of equipment maintenance procedures - Familiarity with industry standard equipment is preferred - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans Skills : - Proficient in heavy equipment operation - Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during operation - Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness - Ability to work well in a team environment - Strong attention to detail and accuracy We offer competitive pay based on experience.
