User Experience (UX) Manager

Robert Half is hiring now for an experienced UX Manager for our Calgary Client. As the successful candidate you will lead the delivery of diverse user-centric team that are responsible for the delivery of the UX strategy. You will manage the program roadmap of work and the people on each project. You have solid technical and leadership skills that will assist in the development and management of high level UX strategies, improve key business metrics and deliver specific business goals through the execution of design related projects. This role is located in Calgary, AB.

Job Requirements:

MUST HAVES:

• 10 + years’ experience in a software developer or UX Designer role combined with 5 + years progressive experience in the management of software/product development teams
• Solid experience in leading teams and transference of knowledge with UX disciplines, methodologies, creation of end-user interfaces and user centered design.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft tools and technologies such as C#, .NET (Framework 4.7+, Core), WPF.
• Proficiency with standard UX/UI methodologies and design skills having proven success in the design, development, and launch of at least two UI products.
• Commitment to establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices, and standards
• Exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills with knowledge and ability to present technical and procedural content clearly with the ability for leveraging graphical or complex information concisely for ease of understanding.
• Capacity to manage multiple timelines and commitments with quick turnaround times
• Post-Secondary degree in computer sciences or similar field
