Compensation : ?$130K - $140K CAD base salary + bonus (negotiable)

Location : ?Mississauga, Ontario. This role is onsite.

Key Responsibilities :

• Adhere to safety protocols and actively contribute to fostering a culture of safety.
• Analyze a variety of data sources, including past customer projects, industry-related projects, labor expenses, and other project-specific costs.
• Seek additional information or clarification on project bids as required.
• Revise cost estimates to reflect changes in project scope and new information.
• Gather and evaluate all project-related expenses, encompassing materials, labor, equipment, and tools, to guarantee precision in cost estimations.
• Calculate engineering project costs by thoroughly assessing technical project requirements.
• Assess and document potential cost uncertainties to ensure that cost models comprehensively cover the entire spectrum of possible expenses.

Qualifications and Experience :

• 3 to 7 years of experience in multi-trade construction estimating for projects valued up to $5M.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience with Accubid Estimating Software or similar tools.
• Educational background : College Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, trade certification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to understand and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Keen attention to detail, along with well-developed organizational and time management skills.
