We are currently recruiting for Carpenters - ticketed or non-ticketed - local to the Whitehorse area. Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the successful candidate will be a team player, exemplify our core values, and have a strong commitment to site safety.
Requirements :
- Minimum years experience technical and trades experience
- Commercial, residential and industrial construction experience an asset
- Exterior / cladding, concrete, framing experience an asset
- Great work ethic and attitude with a willingness to help out in all areas
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Understanding of modern construction practices and construction documents
- A strong safety record
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals and work in a team
- QA / QC
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Must have or be willing to obtain the following tickets : Fall protection, WHMIS , Scissor lift, and Level First Aid
