Our client in Windsor, ON is looking for a Powertrain Project Manager – Associate for a contract position.
Job Summary
As a Powertrain Project Manager – Associate, you will oversee high‑level programs, guide team execution from concept to implementation, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee high‑level program(s) of complex natures, taking projects from original concept through final implementation.
- Lead, instruct, direct, assign, and check the work of team members. Assign project managers to manage cost, schedule, and performance of component projects.
- Ensure continuous alignment of scope and strategic business objectives, recommending modifications to enhance effectiveness.
- Determine and coordinate sharing of resources among project constituents to benefit overall program success.
- Demonstrate expertise in a variety of fields, concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Leverage extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Perform a variety of complicated tasks.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.0‑3 years of automotive engineering or program management experience (preferred 3 years).Strong skills in finance, cross‑cultural awareness, leadership, communication, influence, negotiation, and conflict resolution.Excellent ability to build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with customers at multiple levels, including external stakeholders.Expertise in applications and software methodologies and experience with system life cycle.Occasional travel (2× per month) to meetings in the Detroit area.100% onsite position.No driving of a vehicle required.How You Will Be Successful
