The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Kerrisdale, Vancouver BC, is looking for an Associate to provide administrative support to a successful Advisory Team. You will provide quality client service and help deepen relationships with existing clients through ongoing, efficient support to both clients and the Advisor Team.
Responsibilities
- Reviews day-to-day execution of private banking deals to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Monitors private banking business performance and market conditions when implementing new private banking services.
- Introduces products and services to high net worth clients.
- Builds relationships with internal and external customers through the utilization of appropriate tools or technologies.
- Maintains existing client accounts and identifies opportunities to contact clients. Manages timelines and key dates for accounts to help ensure clients feel supported by our team.
- Responds to client inquiries in an understanding and time-efficient manner (account transactions, requests, account documentation, account reporting, etc.).
- Provides proactive client service with superior problem resolution, liaising with various departments to deliver smooth and timely solutions.
- Effectively manages incoming communications from clients, Advisors and other internal and external partners.
- Assists the Advisor team in welcoming and onboarding new clients.
- Becomes well-versed in internal controls and regulatory requirements, ensuring client files and documentation are accurate, up-to-date and compliant.
- Follows up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
- Supports the Advisor team and clients through the Wealth Management process; maintains an audit of Wealth Management activities and priorities.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary / variable incentive payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals; market conditions; and business needs.
The expected base salary range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000. This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary / variable incentive payment up to 1.0x base salary.
