Virtual Hallway is a thriving online community of clinicians that engage with each other for advice on patient cases and to stay up to date with medical knowledge through our continuing education programs.

Who we are looking for :

We are seeking someone who is highly motivated, efficient, and organized. As the Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting, generating, and leading new business opportunities.

This is a collaborative in-office, hands-on role requiring a flexible, growth-minded individual to break ground into new markets.

Our clients are sophisticated decision makers in large corporate entities and healthcare institutions, requiring a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead Generation and Qualification : Proactively identify and qualify potential partners, using a strategic approach to build and manage a robust pipeline.
  • Relationship Building : Forge and nurture strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Presentation and Product Demonstration : Skillfully present and demonstrate the value of our products to potential and existing clients, tailoring your approach to their specific needs.
  • Customer Success : Actively contribute to customer satisfaction and success, ensuring our solutions meet and exceed their expectations.
  • Consistent Delivery of Excellence : Maintain a high standard of excellence in all tasks and interactions, contributing to the team and company's reputation for quality.
  • Sales Support and Leadership : Provide support to the sales team and show leadership by example, driving initiatives that contribute to team success.
  • Market and Data Analysi s : Conduct thorough market and data analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify new opportunities.
  • Customer Reporting : Prepare and deliver insightful customer reports that highlight successes, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work collaboratively with various teams across the organization to achieve common goals and ensure a cohesive approach to business development.

Experience and Skills :

  • 3+ years of success in a sales or results-oriented customer-facing role, preferably with a complex solution in the SaaS, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Post-Secondary Degree in Business or equivalent blend of education and experience. Post-Graduate education (MBA, etc.) is considered an asset.
  • Experience in healthcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Evidence of self-development and achievement in sales, marketing, and solutions.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with engaging ability to build rapport.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically to overcome objections and address prospective client concerns.
  • Ability to quickly absorb and speak to new information.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for high-performance.
  • A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and being a part of improving access to care.
