We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Developer with hands‑on expertise in SAP Generative AI Hub to design, develop, and operate intelligent applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) .

The ideal candidate has strong experience with SAP AI Launchpad , SAP AI Core , SAP Build Code , and BTP‑native integration services, and is passionate about building AI‑enabled enterprise applications that integrate seamlessly with SAP and non‑SAP systems.

You will work closely with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to enable scalable AI‑driven use cases, automate business processes, and extend SAP landscapes with modern cloud‑native and generative AI capabilities.

This is a 14 month contract role located in our Vancouver, Canada office.

Responsibilities

• SAP Generative AI Hub designs and develop executions. Integrate 3rd party or partner‑hosted APIs
• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into AI‑driven solutions
• Develop custom APIs using SAP Build Code (CAP, Node.js, Java, or ABAP RESTful Programming Model) for SAP and non‑SAP consumption
• Build and manage integrations using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration / CPI, API Management)
• Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot ABAP programs (OData services, CDS views, BAPI implementations)
• Implement secure and scalable connectivity between SAP S / 4HANA (On‑Premise & Cloud), BTP services, and external systems
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Optimize application performance, ensure code quality, and follow SAP development best practices
• Support deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of BTP applications
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
