Director Operations

Role

Reporting to the VP of Western Canada, the Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and enhancing all operational aspects of Rising Edge Group's projects and services. This role focuses on streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and driving operational excellence across the organization. The Director will work closely with various departments to ensure that organizational goals are met, projects are delivered on time and on budget, and optimized use of resources is achieved. Collaborating with Executive leadership, project teams, and stakeholders, this role will ensure alignment between corporate objectives and operational priorities to drive effective team performance.

Responsibilities

Leadership

• Manage operational teams across Western Canada including commissioning, construction, equipment, building fabrication and panel shop
• Oversee the performance and management of the operational team, ensuring alignment with business goals and effective resource utilization
• Lead efforts to identify and mitigate operational risks across projects
• Foster a culture of safety and operational excellence through effective leadership and communications, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and best practices
• Conduct regular operational reviews and audits to assess efficiency and effectiveness
• Promote innovation by implementing best practices and identifying areas for automation and improvement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure program success
