Job Details
- Location : Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada
- Position : Full‑time / 40 hours per week
- Shift : Monday – Friday, 8‑hour shifts
- Pay Rate : $70,000 – $72,500 per year
Special Requirements
Must clear drug testing due to safety requirementsMust maintain no facial hair (beard or mustache) due to PPE equipmentClean criminal recordMust be over 25 and have a clean driver abstract (insurance requirement)Responsibilities
Supervise day‑to‑day security operations of assigned client sitesManage a team of security officers, supervisors, including hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, and developmentEnsure high‑quality security services that protect people and propertyBuild, improve, and maintain effective relationships with clients and employeesCoordinate support services to meet or exceed financial and operational goals while delivering quality customer serviceProvide support on all HSE matters, including investigations of injury / illness and learning‑from‑incident packagesDevelop and implement security policies, programs, and contingency plans to minimize risksHost security awareness training sessions and investigate site incidentsConduct mid‑year and end‑year evaluations for all security team professionalsProvide security‑related emergency response services and coordinate activities during site‑wide emergenciesRequired Qualifications
Post‑secondary education in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experienceValid security licence, or ability to obtain oneMinimum of two (2) years of security supervisory experienceValid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driver abstractAdditional Skills and Experience
Proven experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality team membersStrong verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactionsExcellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyFamiliarity with security systems and technologies is beneficialProblem‑solving ability to identify issues and develop effective solutionsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Closing Statement
