The Structural Steel Superintendent oversees all onsite structural steel erection activities to ensure projects are executed safely efficiently and in accordance with engineering drawings quality standards and project schedules. This role leads field crews coordinates subcontractors liaises with site leadership and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

This position can be based in Calgary or Edmonton but will require travel to project sites.

What You Will Be Working On

Site Leadership & Coordination

• Direct and supervise structural steel erection crews including ironworkers equipment operators and subcontractors.
• Coordinate daily activities with Project Managers General Superintendents Safety teams and other trades.
• Conduct daily pre-task meetings toolbox talks and crew briefings.
• Ensure site logistics equipment tools and materials are planned and available to support uninterrupted workflow.
