KF Aerospace proudly supports the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) by providing state-of-the-art pilot training in Southport, MB.
This training program is supported by advanced and cutting-edge software, stationary and full motion simulators, four fleets of aircraft, a dedicated aerodrome, and support facilities.
The G120A Grob for Phase I and II training, the King Air C-90B for Phase III Multi-Engine training and the Bell 206 Jet Ranger and the Bell 412 for Phase IV training make up our impressive fleet of aircraft.
JOB OVERVIEW
Instructors for KF Aerospace Defence Programs are highly trained in accordance with Department of National Defence (DND) methodology.
Training will include courseware, as well as flight simulator and aircraft flight. The successful candidate will also be trained in aerobatics, and in turn will be instructing aerobatics once qualified.
Once an instructor trainee has successfully completed their military check ride, they are fully qualified to instruct RCAF students.
This prestigious position will entail classroom study, ground school instruction, and individual student flight instruction.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PRIMARY INSTRUCTORS
- Valid Transport Canada Class 3 (or higher) Instructor Rating preferredClass 4 may be considered
- Valid Driver’s license
- 300 hours instructing experience minimum, prefer 500 hours
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
As an instructor, you will have demonstrated leadership qualities and a high level of professionalism. You are a motivated and effective team contributor who can maintain effective communication with staff, students and military colleagues.
You are organized and comfortable with adapting to military-style instruction and protocol. As a lifelong learner, you are interested in further developing instructional skills, as well as investing in your personal growth.
You are familiar and proficient with MS Office Suite and will be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Public Works and Government Services Enhanced Reliability Clearance.
LIFESTYLE AND COMPENSATION
Our Instructors enjoy a steady schedule which enables a great work / life balance. Instructors typically work 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday and are salary based, which includes paid overtime, statutory holidays as well as long term pay progression scale and bonuses.
Once our Trainees have been certified to become Qualified Flight Instructors (on average about 4 months' training), wages increase yearly, with top wages between $92,491.26 and $102,576.16.
