Early Childhood Educator and/or Assistant (ECE/ECEA)
Position DescriptionAvant Life Early Learning Centre (ALELC) is a program of Avant Life Church. The vision and mission of ALELC is to provide high-quality early childhood education and care to children aged 3-5 years old that is founded on a biblical and Christ-centered approach to early learning and community building.
We believe that every individual is a creation of God, with inherent worth and destined for a purposeful life. We strive to foster a sense of wonder and awe in children as they engage with the world, encouraging them to explore, investigate, and embrace a lifelong pursuit of knowledge.
We are in search of qualified ECE’s and ECEA’s who are passionate about early childhood education in a faith based environment and have the skills to make a positive impact on children's lives.
We are located at Avant Life Church, Squamish which has been operating and serving the Squamish community since . We are currently undertaking renovations to the child care space and have a projected opening date of April / May .
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to building and establishing an early learning centre from start-up phase.
Our programs and spaces are still being finalised and we’d love to take our educators on the journey of developing these as a team.
