Key Responsibilities
Research and analyze global and regional environments and markets for our aircraft, with a focus on aerial firefighting, emergency response, and special mission operations.
- Costs and impacts of wildfires (economic, environmental, and social)
- Cost avoidance and operation benefits enabled by aerial firefighting aircraft
- Comparative capability and advantages of DHC aircraft
- Current environment, operations in the environments DHC aircraft operate.
- Develop data driven insights that clearly demonstrate the value proposition of DHC aircraft to a variety of audiences
- Prepare reports, summaries, presentations, and visual data for use by marketing, sales and leadership teams
- Monitor trends, competitor offerings, government policies, and funding program related to firefighting and special mission aviation
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and technical teams to ensure research findings are accurate, relevant, and actionable
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and / or a combination of experience in marketing, economics, data analysis, aviation management or related fieldExperience in market research, data analysis, or strategic research (aviation, aerospace, or public-sector experience is an asset)Strong ability to analyze complex data and translate into clear, compelling insightsExperience researching government or public-sector markets is highly desirableProficiency with research tools, data sources, and presentation softwareStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple research projectsPreferred Assets
Knowledge of aviation markets, aerial fighting, or emergency response operationsFamiliarity with cost-benefit analysis, economic impact studies, or policy researchExperience working with international markets and public procurement processesSalary Range : Up to $80 / hr
