Retail Operations Manager Packaged Gas (Full Time) - Edmonton AB

Major responsibilities:

• Assist locations to meet all safety and compliance goals audits and inspections
• Meet annual expense and labour budget within scope of position.
• Support Customer Sales & Service and Distribution personnel within the assigned geography ensuring applicable staff training performance management and development programs are in place
• Manage fleet and daily routing including maintenance; establish and maintain distribution efficiencies and KPIs
• Ensure branches meet or exceed sales targets and budgets
• Monitor sales inventory turns dead stock SOX compliance price overrides freight costs freight recovery productivity initiatives
• Establish standards for showroom appearance and support marketing initiatives
• Ensure customer inquiries are handled effectively and be available to deal with emergency situations after hours

Qualifications:

• College diploma or equivalent experience in a related field; welding experience and/or industrial product knowledge is preferred.
• Industrial sales experience.
• Inventory management experience.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working with minimum supervision.
• Team player who works well with others and has a strong customer and safety focus.
• Experience in distribution and customer service.
• Required travel up to 20% of the time
