This role will be a key addition to the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities :
The Millwright is responsible for to troubleshooting, programing and repairing production related equipment that meet compliance and customer requirements in a safe and efficient manner.
In this role you will :
- Troubleshoot, maintain, install and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial equipment
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and other specifications to determine installation procedure
- Work with other associates or contractors on assigned projects
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and keep records
- Order supplies and spare parts as need for assigned projects
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements :
Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright license
Experience in industrial / manufacturing electrical systems
MIG welding experience with robotic welding and metal fabrication an asset
Ability to read drawings, blueprints and specifications
Mechanical and mathematical aptitude
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Demonstrated ability to function both independently and with good judgment in a team environment.
