Truck Van Body & Lift Gate Installer Technician We are looking for a Truck Van Body & Life Gate Installer Technician to join our growing team.

Things you will do : Assemble and install a wide variety of heavy and light duty truck bodies, lift gates, snowplows, toolboxes, accessories and speciality equipment Service and repair all aluminium / steel service / van bodies Wire emergency lighting and electrical equipment Operate various power tools, hand tools, and shop equipment Test and verify the proper operation and functionality of installed bodies and equipment Maintain daily records as required Adherence to pre-established standards of performance, shop safety policies and procedures Maintain a safe work environment within the department and on each job Responsible to identify areas for improvement, ways to better expedite and gain production efficiencies, and cost reductions where applicable.
Consistently punctual and available for a minimum of 40 hours of work per week Perform other duties as assigned Shift hours : Monday - Friday 8am - 4 : 30pm QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED : Knowledge of mechanics to perform installations and repairs Knowledge of 12-volt wiring basics 3+ years of work experience in a fabrication, manufacturing or repair facility Welding ticket an asset but not required Strong Fabrication skills with mechanical aptitude Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to recognize and troubleshoot structural integrity repair needs while working independently Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions via written, verbal, or diagram form Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to prioritize What you have : Experience leading / training and working with team 3+ years of work experience in a fabrication, manufacturing or repair facility Welding ticket an asset but not required Strong Fabrication skills with mechanical aptitude Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to recognize and troubleshoot structural integrity repair needs while working independently Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions via written, verbal, or diagram form Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks Who are you?
