Product Development Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Product Development Specialist to join our R&D team. This role involves creating and testing prototypes, managing development timelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative food products to market. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in food science, culinary innovation, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Execute development plans and timelines based on product briefs.
• Create prototypes : procure ingredients, identify equipment, and prepare samples.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure materials are available for testing.
• Conduct analytical evaluations and sensory sessions for product development.
• Document sensory profiles and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
• Prepare reports, specifications, and external communication documents.
• Coordinate packaging and shipping of samples.
• Draft ingredient lists and Nutrition Facts Tables (NFT) for review.
• Obtain supplier quotes and request external lab analyses.
• Ensure compliance with strict hygiene and food safety standards.
