We are looking for an experienced Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join our client’s team in Newmarket. This is a hands‑on role where you will carry out maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment such as HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, and generators.

Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues quickly and effectively.

Perform planned preventive maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.

Respond to emergency repair requests and minimise downtime.

Work with contractors on repairs, installations, and upgrades.

Keep accurate records of work completed and equipment serviced.

Ensure health and safety standards are always followed.

Support projects such as equipment upgrades and system improvements.

Provide guidance and technical support to colleagues when required.

Skills & Experience Required

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (e.g., ONC, BTEC Level 3).

Previous experience in a mechanical / electrical role, ideally in facilities management or estate maintenance.

Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and general building systems.

Confident in diagnosing and resolving both mechanical and electrical issues.

Able to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
