Position Overview
Are you a seasoned electrical engineer passionate about system reliability and regulatory compliance? In this leadership role, you’ll provide technical oversight and guidance to System Operations, ensuring safety, reliability, and alignment with BC Mandatory Reliability Standards (MRS). You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to uphold system integrity and support critical operations that power communities across the province.
We’re looking for someone with deep expertise in BC MRS, including cyber and / or physical security, and a strong understanding of electrical power systems—especially in modelling and forecasting. Experience with system safety protocols, lockout procedures, and safe work practices is essential. You’ll thrive in this role if you bring exceptional organizational skills, technical writing and presentation abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
