DevOps Specialist

The DevOps Specialist is responsible for applying security best practices, ensuring solutions meet regulatory and compliance standards. They lead infrastructure reviews, guaranteeing high levels of security and quality. The DevOps Specialist collaborates with Team Leads, DevOps Team, Developers, and Quality Assurance Engineers to integrate code into continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines, ensuring seamless and rapid deployments with minimal disruption to users and business operations. The DevOps Specialist proactively monitors and resolves performance and security issues, continuously upgrading infrastructure and technologies to reduce technical debt and address potential vulnerabilities. The DevOps Specialist is responsible for maintaining DevOps processes, artifacts, and documentation.

To succeed, a solid background in DevOps development is required. A strong technical understanding of current and emerging technologies, coupled with excellent communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills is essential. The ability to balance business acumen with project leadership expertise will be crucial to successfully navigate and deliver in this dynamic environment.

Technology Stack : React, React Native, TypeScript, .NET / NET Core Framework, C#, Azure App Services, Azure cloud-based development, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, and GitHub.

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. (8 years with a Bachelor’s degree or 10 years with a Diploma)
• Experience with Azure RedHat OpenShift. (5+ years)
• Experience with BuildMaster. (5+ years)
• Experience with Cloud-Based and mobile application development (2+ years)
• Experience with Disaster Recovery architectures, processes and tests. (5+ years)
• Experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting. (5+ years)
• Experience with replicating environments (either manually or through Infrastructure as code). (5+ years)
• Experience with scaling services through either horizontal or vertical scaling techniques. (5+ years)
• Experience with VM sizing based on needs and performance testing. (5+ years)
• Experience working as a DevOps Specialist on large-scale agile enterprise projects with 15 or more team members.
• Experience working on the same enterprise Agile development teams. (2+ years)
