  • Contract Length : 6 months

Responsibilities :

Actively participate in various SOC1 and SOC2 and SOX audits by :

o Helping to facilitate meetings between subject matter experts and auditors

o Coordinating with subject matter experts in responding to requests for information from auditors

o Assisting with gathering of evidence and documentation

o Analyze observations raised by auditors, escalating to manage as required

o Assist in the creation of management responses

o Assist with collating SOC 2 report and coordinating reviews and publication

  • Assist with executing controls and monitoring procedures, prepare stakeholder and senior management communications.
  • Identify and implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of compliance controls and monitoring
  • Assist in the establishment of compliance controls related to application development and support.

Qualifications :

  • Experience in compliance or a similar discipline preferably in the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of IT General Computing Controls (e.g., SOX / COBIT, SSAE, NIST, PCI, SOC, SOC2)
  • Familiarity with the general processes and stages of an audit as it relates to SOC1 , SOC2 and SOX audits.
  • Familiarity of technical infrastructure, for example networks, servers, mainframe
  • Familiarity with application development and support
  • Familiarity or experience with Information Technology practices (e.g., change control, operations, logical security)
  • Strong communication, facilitation, problem solving, and problem resolution skills
  • Proficient with analysis of data (e.g., Excel pivot tables, MS Access, etc.)
  • Experienced at supporting change and helping others through the process
  • Flexible and adaptable when dealing with changing priorities
  • University degree with 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
